Why do it?

  • This is a race designed BY women, FOR women.
  • I need a reason to buy a new outfit!
  • I love being 50 years old (it is the new 40!) and being active.
  • I want to motivate myself, or my girlfriend/mother/daughter/sister.
  • I am one of those crazy runners who is always trying to improve my time and go faster!
  • I am just getting started. I walk and I try to run a little, and I think I can do 5 miles.
  • I love chocolate and the race goodies sound awesome!!!
  • The merchandise is super super cute!

Sunday April 22, 2018
Registration Information

Location

501 Jarvis Rd.
Erial, NJ 08081

Proceeds for this event support the Aim High Scholarship.

The AIM HIGH scholarship is in honor of Aimee Jo Girard & will be awarded to one Timber Creek graduate with a commitment to nursing and two Timber Creek graduates attending a 2 year or 4 year school. Aimee was an active member of the Timber Creek High School community: she was captain of the Varsity Tennis Team, an officer of Student Council & the Class of 2007. She was crowned homecoming queen the fall of her senior year.

Aimee’s good nature & passion for helping others led her to Thomas Jefferson University where she pursued a degree in nursing. Despite suffering a stroke her senior year, Aimee was determined to not only make a full recovery, but to complete her bachelor’s degree on time. In true Aimee fashion, she accomplished both goals! Aimee then began her career as a registered nurse at Jefferson Hospital. She was adored by coworkers & patients alike for her compassion & positive outlook. Her motto was "Sometimes you just need to shift your perspective."

On August 10, 2014, Aimee Jo Girard’s life was tragically cut short in a senseless act of domestic violence. Aimee’s desire to help was contagious, & her innate ability to find a silver lining was inspiring. Her family and friends hope to shine some light by giving back to the community & we want you to be a part of it! Aimee’s spirit of giving back inspired them to start a scholarship in her honor. Join us to raise funds for this great cause!

Crusader Challenge 5K St Patrick's Day Road Race

Saturday March 17, 2018
Registration Information

Location

Morris Catholic High School
Denville, NJ 07834

Join us for the 7th Annual Crusader Challenge 5k St. Patrick's Day Road Race!

As one of the first 5K's of the 2018 running season, get out into the fresh air and join us for a St. Patrick's Day 5K in Denville NJ to kick off your running season on the right foot (pun intended)!

The race proceeds will benefit the Morris Catholic High School scholarship and athletic programs as well as the Denville Public Assistance Fund!

Did you know that Morris Catholic is a co-educational college preparatory school in Northern NJ founded in 1957? Morris Catholic was designed to serve students in Morris County from a perspective of Catholic values. With an average enrollment under 500 students Morris Catholic is considered to be the right size for a student who wants to find a community that is authentically caring and lands students in the best colleges in the country.  One of Morris Catholic’s goals is to keep its tuition within reach of all families. Therefore, it relies on various fund raising activities such as this race, to enhance the students’ high school experience and to provide scholarships to those who require financial assistance.

As Morris Catholic is located in Denville, NJ, it is only fitting that the proceeds of the race are shared with the Denville Public Assistance Fund, to give back to this wonderful community!

A good run for a good cause? Let's do it!

May the luck of the Irish give us a sunny day; but the race runs on Rain or Shine!

The race starts and ends at Morris Catholic High School, 200 Morris Avenue, Denville NJ, and is professionally timed!

See you THERE!
